I would recommend these, personally. I use them for most of my large species, and the 30cm cube for the small species like P. marginata.
Things to be aware of, the lid is mesh so if youre using a light source be sure to maintain substrates moisture content. For A. fulica this isnt so much of an issue, as the species is tollerant of lowered humidity. Theyre heavy tanks being glass, so be sure its located somewhere capable of taking the weight of damp substrate at the tank itself. Exoterra do a very nice combined light/heatlamp unit if youre going the whole way, which sits ontop of the mesh lid which is very nice - but expensive. Its a great alternative to ugly heatmats and will also provide light, for a better display and also the ability to use live plants. If you opt for that, have a peice of perspex cut to the size of the "other" mesh pannel in the lid (the heat /light unit covers one half) and have it drilled with holes. If you cover the mesh with this it will help prevent he enclosure drying out whilst maintaining good ventilation.

Thanks copigeon for the advice.
Hadn't thought of using the light/heatlamp combination. Might get one next month when I get paid lol. Certainly sounds like a nice idea though.

I've got one for my GALS. It's 45X45X60... or the other way around and I'm planning to get another one for my smaller species. I'm not so concerned about aesthetics (and more concerned with money ) so instead of perspex I've got a cling film cover on the lid to keep humidity up. I keep a blanket over it to a) keep the heat in and b) use to give them some darkness if we're staying up stupid late. [EDIT] Oh, also; that's about the cheapest I've seen them, though I've not checked in places like petsmart/city.

If you need to use heat lamps 24/7 on make sure you buy infrared one so it won't disturb snails day and night cycle. With heat lamps be careful and not spray ever terrarium heavyly so that small water drops will start to circle in air. I have broke two heat lamps because few drops of water touched the infrared lamp. I think in future I move heatlamp away from top of the terrarium till I have sprayied the tank.. Animals can't see infrared light so you can keep it on for 24/7 and I soon start to keep 12hours per day light on that is designed to use with plants so plants will be happy in terrarium too. With infrared light terrarium is nice and illuminationed at night too an it's easier to see what snails are doing and it keeps terrarium nice and warm.

I love Exo Terra tanks. I use them for all my snails The only problem I've had with mine is that the mesh lid starts to rust because of the tank humidity. However, it's easily solved by covering the bottom of the lid with clear plastic or cling film

Thanks for the advice - aerliss, crossless and morningcoffee I have now ordered the Exo Terra Terranium - 45x45x45! Will certainly bear the heat lamp in mind, but that will have to wait until I can afford it as I've pretty much used up all my monthly allowance on the Terranium alone lol. Ah well - he is really worth it Morningcoffee - will definitely use cling film for the mesh lid Slimeballsquidget

It's arrived - Although Squidget has to wait for my Dad to get the Irish Moss substrate before he can go in there lol. It's huge though - wasn't expecting it to be that big. Squidget's going to get lost - bless him lol. All the rest of it - heatmat, thermo/hydrometer are all set up and ready to go. I can't wait for Squidget to start using it Just thought I'd update you all Slimeballsquidget xx
