can archachatina marginata suturalis have a black body? all the ones i have seen have grey and a black stripe running down its neck(except from the albinos)

They certainly can, well I have seen very dark charcoal grey if that counts.

in that last pic especially it look pretty normal, you can see it's fairly light underneath, he just has a black head

I've only ordered one for me, cos hopefully have my margie baby off lotsofsnails coming in spring - so they can be friends. I would have ordered two but I'm really trying (and failing) to control myself! It's definitely the end of snail-seeking though, once I've got my two tigers in spring too. No more after that, cos I'll have all the ones I wanted
