Hello, Yesterday I got 4 of these snails. I wassed them, so maybe someone up here can tell me what type of snail this is. I think it is from the achatina family but I'm not sure which subspecie it is (maybe the Achatina reticulata). The structure of it shell is rougher then the fulica's shell. And they (used to) have a pointy shell (all 4 off them are missing the tip of their shell) The biggest one fills up my handpalm (about 10 to 12 cm I think) The body is lightcolored and the head is dark colored. I got more pictures of them, but I'm only able to attach one picture!?!? Please can anybody tell me what species these snails are? Kind regards, Jeroen Attachments:

Thanks for your post! Oke, tnxs for the tip! I will keep them warmer and wetter then the fulica's. What is the best temp. to keep them on then? And does anybody know how big the Achatina reticulata can get? Greetz Jeroen
