Hi I'm new to keeping giant African land snails and have only had them for a few days, the first day I brought them home they were fine, but since yesterday and all of today they have been burrowed and the food is untouched. I was thinking of getting a heatmat and thermostat because I bought a thermometer and apparently my room is only 10C which seems unusually low considering the heating is on. I think this might be the reason for their lack of activity so I was wondering if anyone thinks temperature might be the factor and if anyone could recommend me a specific heater and thermostat for a small tank. Thanks in advance!

Room temperature id definitely a factor, even though I can't believe your thermometer is correct. 10 degrees would be way too cold for yourself.
Depending on the kind of GALS you keep you should supply them with a temperature between 20 and 28 C.
