Hi all, This snail, I think a species of Archachatina, ( degneri or puylaerti maybe?) hitched a ride in with some Achatina iredalei that I bought from Polyped at the AES Exhibition in 2009. It has been frustratingly slow growing, and is still only about 5cm in shell length, but I hope some of you will be able to suggest a species. Some photos now (excuse the mud, I didn't wash him). Here he is out of his shell. Bright red columella Apex Thanking you in advance, Victoria

Hmm I'm puzzled. It's the whiteness of the flesh on the tail that's puzzling me - doesn't quite look like a Puy but then again I'm not sure........
