The page where the thing is mine, the photos are mine, so the data are accurate as it gets. I gues this kind of things are pretty common (in moist, cold areas I would say) here in Slovenia. Another observation few days ago, different species doh, I think due to collor pattern: agrozoo.net/jsp/Galery_one_image.jsp?id_galery=22a66e1cb94c4f9abaed8d085cfe9226This forinstance has white lip comparing to previos link where it is black/brown.

Hi there,
I just checked - it could be Trichia striolata (also known in Britain as the strawberry snail). In Austria it is said to live in altitudes of up to 2000 m MSL, and it is considerably flatter that Trichia hispida.
Also, the primordial whorls are especially flat, so I imagine the juveniles would be nearly disc shaped.
