This weekend I went out to the woods again as I did a week ago, but this time to a different forest. Since I actually went in deep, I was able to walk through many paths, go up and down slopes, stairs, and take many pictures! I’ll first start with this brown lipped snail on an apple. Snail on the ground. A live brown lip snail moving about. A toad (or frog??) that was hopping away from me, but it stood still to let me photograph it. Amber snail on a leaf. Light gray slug. Juvenile brown lipped snail moving to the other side of its leaf. Orange slug on the floor This slug here was large in person! The blue thing its sitting on is littered garbage… In fact, this particular spot I took this picture was filled with garbage, clothes, bottles and I even saw raw chicken from one of those grocery packs changing colours! I didn’t bother getting a picture because… I don’t know - for now I’ll just carry on. Looking through the woods River crossing time! This was the most thrilling part of my adventure since I probably haven’t done this before in ages, so it was definitely an exciting experience! Looking left Looking right And looking down Made it to the other side without being washed away or falling! And a random shot of a church to conclude!

Hi cashell , Looks like you had a great little adventure. Thank you for sharing it. Love the photos especially love the toad. Toads are so cute , there are none here were I live. Further up North from me there are. That was a great shot of the slug on the blue thing. I enjoyed your photos a lot. Hope to see more of your adventures soon vallery

Gorgeous snails and scenery! That's definitely a toad, by the way. They're lumpier and slower than frogs, and you'll find them a lot further from water sources.

@ vallery Glad you enjoyed the photos! @ muddydragon Yeah, I guess my 2MP cell cam can take good pictures when it's in the sunlight. @ malacophile That explains why it was way out of the stream, thanks for the info!
