Since I keep various native species, I go out into the forest and dig around the garden while we're gardening. I've never seen anything other than H. aspersa and a few others around, and then suddenly there's Grove/White-lipped snails hiding inside the lavender bush. And in a metal pipe, snails seem to have some kind of obsession with pipes? Largest number I've found at once is 53, with 3 black slugs. Searching outside is much more entertaining than ordering online.

There aren't any snails where I live. D: And yeah, that's true.

We only really have helix aspersas and vineyards here unfortunately. I find them under cushions that we use for target practice, silly things! Almost as if they want to be shot with an arrow sometimes, I move them and find the same ones on the next time I check. EDIT: Huge aspersas you have there!

EDIT: Huge aspersas you have there! I swear snails wedge themselves into the weirdest spaces possible. Not quite my largest, my biggest aspersa is absolutely huge. I should take a proper photo of them sometime, never seen a snail quite as big as them.

It's too bad my hand can't penetrate the monitor and take those jumbo helix aspersas for myself! *Ahem* I typically find my snails in the bushes off trails, trees, ravines, forests and parks.

Are they really that big? I picked out as many as I could see, they're all WC. I thought they were pretty average for aspersas, but these all came from my garden.
