I'm very ocd and obsessed with my snails so as soon as I feel some things wrong I want to know if I should worry or not. Is this a problem its the very tip of the shell is this normal or will it spread ? and why is this happening ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is quite common when snails get older, no need to worry. What specie do you have? If it spreads, it can come from acidic water/substrate or smaller snails rasping.

They are quite young at 10 months or is that classed as old And I have fulica, could it be from over watering ? while I was away a friend was in charge of spraying them maybe she over did it ?

Not at all! If I can recall, most of these African snails should live anywhere from 5-10 years. And about the watering issue, I can't say whether or not this could be the cause because I'm uncertain. Maybe if it was heavily chlorinated perhaps it could?

I doubt it was the spraying, if the water had that much chlorine in it it would have probably made the snails very ill. I think it's normal for the shell to go a bit white, the very tip of the shell gets worn quite early and as the snail gets older the whiteness might spread. mine are all completely white just underneath the shell near the tail, where the shell has become worn over time, as well as the tips. I wouldn't worry.
