I recently upgraded my snail terrarium from a 10 gallon plastic storage box, to a 10 gallon aquarium w/ mesh lid. It looks a bit nicer than the old terrarium, and I'm hoping this mesh cover will be better at preventing mold out breaks. I'm also interested to see how the plants contribute to breaking down the snail waste. Plants include: Spider plants, prayer plants, Maidenhair fern, boston fern, and I might add some live sphagnum moss. (First 2 pics are of the new terrarium, last 2 pics are of the old one.)

Now that is a great looking tank. Mine is so bare I may have to invest in some plants (safe of course). What wood is your large stick in there?

Thanks guys!
I think the stick is just a fresh maple branch. I was thinking of putting in larger pieces of wood in the terrarium, but the plants filled it up so well I just needed that stick to support the prayer plant.
