I live in the Pacific Northwest, and Pacific Sidebands (Monadenia fidelis) are supposed to be the largest native species around here. They're very beautiful snails, and I wish to keep some. However, I can't seem to find any. This in itself is strange, as I can usually find species that I know live around my area. I've done some poking around in a variety of places, and not one Pacific sideband. Does anyone keep them? And if you do, could you tell me what sort of habitat they prefer?

I've been wanting these myself for a while now, but I haven't heard from the 2 British Columbians that I contacted ages ago.

Same here! They look like such a cool species, but I heard they are rare to find. I have only ever heard of wrekoning keeping them on this forum.

Well, I'm going to go to an area I know that has snails galore and hopefully I'll find one.
