I want one SO bad, but I'm not too sure if you need one to own one of them. I see videos online of people in America with the Giant African Land Snail, and they see it's okay to own them in the US. By the way, I live in Georgia. Please reply!

Unfortunately, Giant African Land Snails (GALS) are illegal in America. While they are relatively easy to obtain within Europe, American regulations prohibit the keeping of GALS because of the natural destruction they can cause if they happen to be released.

By the way, I live in Georgia. Please reply! Are you sure those were Americans and not Europeans? If they don't talk in their videos, it may not always be easy to tell them apart.

I don't think the PPQ 526 permit will even consider GALS anymore, so there is no way you can obtain one in the US.
