Hello My snails have plastic cup hides but i was wondering.. Anyone have ideas? I was planning on making a YouTube video on what and what you shouldn't use as hides, recommended ones, and how to make them. But the only ones you can make are plastic basically. So i was thinking. If i hot glued rocks together with sticks and such would it be a good hide? Would the hot glue hurt them (once its dried) Any tips? Thanks

I use something like this as well as a plastic flower pot. Though I have medium size snails, the wooden hut probably won't work with large/giant species.

I use the same hides as katan, as well as branches and plants in my terrariums. although right now my terrariums look a bit plain since I haven't had the time to buy new plants.

I used to have a log hide thing until it started getting this hairy mould really quickly. At the moment I just have half a plant pot and a bunch of plastic plants in there. Looking for something to replace this great plastic strawberry I had, as my GALS are too big for it now, but it would be great for a smaller snail. www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pets/strawberry-hideaway - this is the one I bought but you can get similar ones and a range of different fruits on Amazon.

As of right now, I don't use anything. They bury themselves when they want to hide, anyway. Besides that, they inevitably plow over anything I put in there, usually right through their food and water dishes, which makes a terrible mess.

I use a few rocks and soil bins.
