Help! My garden snail Pam fell and cracked her shell. She's in a tupoware bin but she has a missing part of her shell on her side. It's about the circumference of a pinky ish. I'm not sure how to post photos. Idk what to do. Should i put tape over it so nothing gets in it and keeps it moist? Help!

She'll probably be fine without the tape. That was a nice thought though Be sure to provide her with plenty of extra calcium so she can repair her shell on her own. If you have access to cuttlefish bones or limestone blocks, those would be helpful. I don't myself, so what I like to do is sprinkle ground up eggshell on my snail's food, and place clean seashells around the tank for her to rasp (or just chill out on).

Don't ever put calcium on a snail's food. They can self regulate calcium intake whereas if it is on their food they have no option but to eat the calcium source, this can result in a clacium overdose which leads to internal stones and death. If it's just a small part near the opening then it's fine left. if it's a large part especially elsewhere then it's best to tape it. either place the old piece of shell over and cover with medical tape or place a piece of eggshell over the gap and tape it with medical tape. Best of luck. How to post photos: petsnails.proboards.com/thread/14494/adding-images-posts-flickr-facebook

You could try but normal tape tends to come off due to the humidity
