He is! And the single-striped ones are a bit of an oddity around here.

Yellow with one thin band (as seen here) - none in the garden, found in another spot Yellow with five distinct bands I see yellow with three thin bands outside from time to time, but haven't kept any Yellow with the five bands so thick they blend into one - looks really cool, he's almost all black! And then unbanded brown guys in a range of shades from beige to almost chestnut brown, some rather pink, and one neat fellow with multiple colors one the same shell! Most of them have yellow bodies, occasionally I find an olive green one, and once, this really dark guy as seen here!
I have never seen: Yellow without any stripes at all Brown with stripe(s)
Did I miss any?

Spotted the pure yellow morph for the first time this week! Meet Sunshine! And here's a pair of snails with some shell damage I found in the yard after the rain tonight. We're offering them some calcium before they go back to munching our lillies apart.

This is Dark Vader on the left and Ebony on the right, teaming up to ravage the sweet potato slice. Funny thing, all the snails seem to like eating in that position, with the shell hanging down and their heads curving around and digging in the potato! It looks awkward to me... but I am not a snail.
