That's ok, wild caught snails take a bit of time to learn they no longer have to look for food in many dangerous places, so they binge at first. Do his poops look the same as before?

If the new shell is not soft elsewhere than the VERY new growing edge, it'll be ok when it has grown back to the original size. If you can find snails of his kind in a place where they won't be stepped on, release him to be with them and they'll help him adjust again.

Have you fed him protein, such as boiled egg (especially yolk), or minced beef? He might need a little boost. Offer him all he will eat in one day/night and remove the rest so it doesn't start to stink.
Does he have anywhere to hide in his box? He might be stressed, something like an opaque plastic cup will be ok for the purpose.
You can look for his fellow snails at night or after rain, they should be on the move then. They'll most likely be under plant leaves and items that are on grass.

Once a week is well enough. In the wild he'd eat dead animals, including dead snails.
I'd recommend you add some root vegs to his diet, such as carrots and sweet potato, and dark green leafy vegs. Currently that's a lot of sugary fruit for him.

If it's high quality cat food with high meat content, low or no grains, and no *added* sugar, salt or copper (natural natrium is ok), assuming it's dry food you can soak a small amount of it well (no more than your fingertip) and offer it when it absolutely doesn't expand any more. I am no expert on fish flakes but some people do use them, too, soaked as well. Raw or cooked minced beef is a favourite of my snails, some have offered their snails fish and clam. I have no knowledge of sesame, tahini or lentils. Good job with the coir and new tank. Now you can remove poops when they appear (and he's not eating them) and just not change the coir, it stays usable for even months.

i dont think he likes tho coir so much,it appears that hes not able to move right when he's on it, and he prefer being on the plastic all the time

He'll figure it out. Snails are careful with everything new. It's important for his health that he has substrate, so just keep it there.

Hi, the snail hasent eaten for 3 days, and before he asteviated for 3 more days..for all that time he hasent consumed calcium as well,it looks like all he wants to do is to climb on the walls of the tank and sleep/astivate.. the tank is super humid so thats not the cause, could it be that he's biological watch tells him to astivate although its humid in his tank? its summer here and sanils are all astivating now,he also stop hes shell recovery, and that hasent progressed for about 2 weeks.the good sighns are that when in putting him back to the tank floor he wakes up looking all energetic, looking around streching and then charging on the closest wall climbing and tring to get back to sleep.Im also wondering wether the tank tempature is ok ,its pretty hot here about 28 celsius. you think i should try cooling the tank? you think he will be ok? should i let him astivate?

Is the coir too moist, if you can squeeze a lot of water out of it, then it's getting too wet, my snail won't spent time on the coir when it gets too soggy, is all your tank hot or is there a cooler end, I would say too hot, do you have a heat mat?, if so where on the tank is it.

Agreed with Yoruni, a pic would be great Take it from a bit farther away so your camera can focus. If the new growth has hardened and the weather is not awfully dry, he's likely nearing the moment you can release him back to his own kind.
