Hi fasti , It is a beautiful crow. As I said the ones here in Canada are simply black. I would love to have a crow. Are they difficult to handle? Vallery

My snails are cepaeas and one edible shade plant that grows really well in my terrarium is Hosta. But I don't know if it is edible to all types of snails or not.

That's a good update. Your first post was a little alarming. Hope your snail is okay. I have never heard of that happening before. Keep us updated on how your snail is doing. A picture would be great as well. vallery

Yes I witnessed one of those frisky cepaeas. He was poking at five near by. It was pretty funny the way the others showed their disinterest by whipping their faces away from Mr. Frisky who was very very persistent but finally found someone interested.

Try getting shade plants they grow well in a terrarium. Or woodland plants.

I have cepaeas and they breed and lay all year round especially my cepaea nemoralis this spring it's nuts I have released hundreds of babies and buried all sorts of egg clutches. Today I made a Snail Sanctuary a safe place in my East garden with everything that will attract the wild snails and a place to set more babies free and bury more clutches. vallery
