OMG! They look amazing. Are you snail hunting in Washington? Man, I really wish I could get ahold of some Banana slugs. Really nice acquisition!

If I was there I'd get more than one lol. I just got it sent in on the lab permit before my research is over.

Wow! You're so lucky to get your hands on one of these highly coveted native North American beauties! I'm here still looking out for someone in British Columbia to give me some, but haven't had any luck yet. Hopefully that will change this year...

Beautiful snails!! I am jealous haha, these are one of my favorite, and want-to-get snail species!

Living in Washington, I've actually seen many Monadenia before, but they were in parks where we were restricted from taking the wildlife haha~ I'm so jealous that you got ahold of them, but also very glad for you. I also recently got ahold of a couple banana slugs, as they're very plentiful around here.

Oh man, that's too bad. I heard they are easier to find in wooded areas out away from the suburbs, so I could see restricted collection in forest preserves being a big obstacle to legally collecting them. This one was found somewhere out in the country on the guy's farm property.

Whatever happened to him? It's been a year now ^^ I'm about to go snail hunting in rumoured-to-be-Monadenia Fidelis dwelling grounds so I got curious!
