What kind of habitat did you find your C. vindobonensis in? I didn't find any at one area of the species' range, until I looked in very specific bare rock sites in the cliffs outlined in a paper (Thanks Pokrysko & Maltz!).

They're very nice. A lot more brown stripes than mine, which look almost only black and white. I think it would be fun to keep C. vindobonensis from different localities.

The environment of your walking place is so great that I haven't seen . And I don't konw the Genus Cepaea has C.vindobonensis ,this member . Could you please this one has no wrong in classfication systerm . And I really want to enjoy the air of the wood .:-D

I'm not sure if I fully understood the question, but I think you're asking if the identification is correct. As far as I know, yes it is...(Cepaea vindobonensis) is still used as the name for those snails. Although "Cepaea" is a polyphyletic group and C. vindobonensis is not really a close relative of C. nemoralis or C. hortensis. A reclassification has been suggested but I don't think the nomenclature has been update yet.
