Hi everyone, I'm Natalia, 18, from Madrid, Spain. I just found this forum and I already love it. Here I can find all the information I need. I didn't even know there were so many snails enthusiasts! When I was a little kid I used to own a lot of snails (I found them in the village I went for holidays or in parks) but they started to lay eggs and there were too many for me, so I released them. But I missed them a lot so recently I have adopted two adorable snails (helix aspersa) and I'm here to make sure they are well maintained.
I have an adult one named Jimmy and a little baby named Timmy. But I'm going to find some more friends for them!
PS: I'm not sure how to upload pictures on here since I'm terrible with computers but as soon as I figure out how to do it I will share some with you!
Glad you like this site, because it's full of snail crazy people! 🐌🐌🐌😜😜😜
Depending on where you live, if you want to release eggs and/or snails, it's best to check whether or not it's legal if you don't want problems. Some people put their eggs in the freezer, but nobody in my family is a fan of the idea!
When I was a starter, I was awful at this too! I had discovered colors and applied them, but then, I've discovered that if you use colors, moderators (who are usually very nice, by the way) will remove them to ease other people's lives when trying to read. For the pics, it's simple: you just have to copy/paste a link after you've clicked on a icon on the top-right, where you can also put smileys and quotes!
Have a nice day! Once again welcome to the forum!
