Hi everyone, Yesterday, when taking care of my snails, I found Marble in the food dish, retracted deeper than ever, his tail laying outside. I suspected that he was dead, but since there was no smell, I'd only put him in a quarantine terrarium to check if he'd wake up. Today, when I came back from my general first aid all-day lesson, I checked, and he is indeed dead. He was one of my first snails, an unexpected one from when I bought some from Cashell. I guess that Marble was just old, he was wild-caught, after all. But it's still a shock, I'd only had him for one year! Goodbye, Marble. I'll never forget you. My first picture of him Enjoying a bit of toilet paper Who didn't like a walk? Enjoying a ride on Choco's shell My little lazy guy!

Sorry to hear about your loss. It was indeed a wild-caught adult snail, but at least it got to have a wonderful life with you.

Thank you Phantom and Cashell. We was indeed a beautiful snail. I'm currently wondering about whether I should bury him in the park close to home, in Mont-Royal natural park or in Mackenzie-King park. I'll think about it!

Hope I'm not too late to say this, but I'm sorry to hear about your snail losing our little ones can be very hard.
