Please help identify my stripey snail friend

This is Beauregarde, who I've had for about a year and a half. Beauregard is a delight!

I found this snaily friend down the street from my house in Ottawa, Canada. Does anyone know what type of snail Beauregarde is?



p.s. You'll also notice that Beauregarde has a bump on the upper left tentacle; a little quirky feature

It's a Cepaea, probably Cepaea nemoralis.

I have a snail that looks just like yours mine is a grove snail, aka, Cepaea nemoralis. I’ve only heard of ones in Canada but I found mine in Illinois (USA) \_(^>^)_/ they’re native to Northern to western Europe and have been recently introduced to North America.
