Sorry to hear that. I've had something similar happen today myself. My papyracea/suturalis with the full mantle collapse seemed to be recovering. It has survived months, the mantle had repaired itself and he was beginning to eat. But today, I found him dead

well..er...my william is fine (i think) his mantle came out once but then it just went back to normal after he ate a lot....
