So, today I decided to try keeping snails. I had noticed that some very little snails were stuck on a wall. I picked 2 of them, put them in the water for some seconds, and put them into a wet napkin. I did all these things, because I thought that they were affected by the very warm weather. They are still sealed in...

you have to leave them in a pool of water for a long time, but make sure it's shallow so they don't drown.

maybe not dead. The shells are usually empty or just contain the dried remains of snails if dead. If the shells look sealed up then the snails are trying to prevent water loss and have closed themselves off to keep safe. Give them time and keep bathing them - sometimes it takes ages.

well it shouldn't take days. maybe half an hour?
if it starts to smell bad then it's dead.

It was smelling bad but I thought it was just the smell of all the snails... Bad luck... I'll try again.

i had a baby snail that did this & i left it on a cucumber for a few days (cucumbers are wet & easy food) & it WORKS he woke up my friend rang me when one of her babies (got off me) "died" & i went up put him in a jar with some lettuce & on a cuccumber again & i think i left him (changin the food of course) about 3 days & HE woke up too - im guessing they had hibernated tho as it was back in April when we had a sudden freeze & snow ALSO i read you shouldnt peel them off if stuck ?? so i spray mine with warm - slightly warmer than i normally use- water til they either come out OR the slime unsticks THEN i move them (can take a while when my adult Fuli did this LOL

you could try to take the membrane thats sealing him in off the shell using your thumb, just poke it gentely untill it tears, careful not to hurt the snail tho

They have a membran, but it's kind of dry... And I don't think there's something alive in the shell...

the membrane will be dry. just keep batheing them and put the snail on some cucumber and see if it comes out. It may take days but it works if the snail is alive

try breaking the membrane gently and bathe it, then put on food.

I broke the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd membran, and a white thing (something like another membran) is deeper into the shell... Very deeper into the shell... I can't break it... Is this snail dead? (4 membrans?!?!?)

No, but a snail can't fit under the 4th membran. I can hardly see the membran.
