Snails by themselves are happy enough. I don't think your snail needs a companion to live a good life. She may or may not produce eggs on her own, and if she does, they might not hatch. There's no way to tell ahead of time. Maybe you could find a different species of small snail to put in the tank with her.
But your snail does need a source of calcium, such as limestone flour or a piece of cuttle in the tank. She needs this right away, so if you don't already have some calcium in the tank you should get some as soon as possible, otherwise she won't be healthy and will have a weak shell.

Eggshells can work, you might have to grate it down into a powder first since your snail might not like the shell as it is. Just remember to remove that membrane-thingy that is inside of the shell. And dont worry, a cuttlefish bone isnt expensive at all, and if you only got a small garden snail, it will last for ages xD Just break the cuttlefish in half and it will last for several months Ive had garden snails since last summer, and they still got some cuttlefish left of hte piece i gave them then

Having a rock in the tank might be a bad idea, if she climbs on the roof and falls down (rare but it does happen) landing on the rock could crack her shell. Wood, bark or plastic flower pots are all good items you can add to a tank to make it more interesting that won't endanger the snail. (Just makesure they're cleaned completely if you get them from outside.)
The licking definately sounds like she's short on calcium. Cuttlefish bones are normally around 40p each (UK, about the same as a chocolate bar) and one should last a snail ages so it's a good investment. Egg shell could work but unless you eat a lot of eggs you'll need something else as well as they need a constant supply.

The snail may have gone up to the air holes for air, but snails also instinctively climb up to feel safe (they are away from ground-based predators). Any snail could lose its grip on the roof of the tank at any time, so it is best to be prepared by not having anything hard in the tank it might crack its shell against. A cracked shell is an emergency for the snail, and it is not fun to have to deal with, believe me.
About the rock, unless it already has moss spores on it, it will not grow moss. A nice cushion of moss would make a rock safer in a snail tank, but moss will not survive unless it has cool temperatures, very high humidity, and bright filtered light. I have not had any luck at all keeping moss alive in my snail tanks.
I'm not sure what to say about the egg, other than sorry the hatchling died, and sometimes snails will eat carrion, including other snails. Their role in the ecosystem is to eat decomposing things to help break down organic matter and release the nutrients back into the environment for new life to utilize.

Frankly, I'm not sure why the membership age is set at 13. That's something the site owner, Paul, would be able to answer. But if your mom or other adult is helping you with your membership here, I guess that's okay. As to your rock with green stuff on it, the green stuff might be algae (single-celled, photosynthetic organisms), which are different from moss. The only way to be sure is to keep the rock in a moist environment and see what the green stuff develops into. A lot of snails eat algae, so it's okay to have that in your tank. As a matter of fact, some snails cannot be fully healthy unless they can eat algae all the time. And as to plants in the tank, the best thing to do is to find a small potted plant, wash it really well to make sure you do not introduce any chemicals into the tank, and put the whole thing, pot and all, into a little hollowed-out place in the substrate. That way you can easily swap out the plant if it starts to die or if the snails start eating it or if it simply gets too big to remain in the tank. You can find information about live plants in tanks here (scroll down a little): www.petsnails.co.uk/care/equipment.html#e_decorationAlso, you can find lists of toxic plants and safe plants in this thread: petsnails.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=habitat&action=display&thread=7851

It might be, if your snail is old enough to reproduce.

I have not had any luck keeping snails and slugs together. Personally, I would not recommend that.

No snails and slugs together. Slugs don't have any shell to hide from dryness so they need really balanced humidity they will die 'cos they can't hide from dryness like snails can hide in shell. Some snails species can die if they are in too wet environment so keep them separate.

I think it's a good idea to provide a little more warmth for your snail tank.
