Well in actual fact these are rodatzi off Melly, who else got rodatzi off Melly because i have a Suspicion that she may have sold us fulica instead. I feel quite annoyed because they look so much like fulica, do all yours look like this too???

Mine look alot different than yours tbh sarah, will get some photos up after work.
Shell colour uniform and alot lighter, and the think flames are fading as the shell grows.

they are 2-3cm shell length, and i will be extremely angry if they are fulica especially with all the fulica i am stuck with at the moment

Im fairly sure I read a post once that mentioned someones rodatzi laid eggs and some/all? of the resulting snails didnt look like rodatzi, but more like usual fulica, I cant remember who posted it though?
My rodatzi from Melly are still quite small (about 1cm) so havent really developed much colour, but are looking like they're going to be yellow.

well the bodies are the same colour as fulica, but the species are anyway, i'll try and get better pics in a bit, when my dads finished converting my wardrobe into a special cabinet for my tanks ;D

rodatzi have yellow shells all through their life (well mine did anyway i raised mine from babies)

I got my rodatzi off of Gabi and they look quite different to those The shells are yellow for one thing ;D but I am sure there are variations Brian ;D

These were from melly, but theyre only 1cm in length. Still too small. Either way theyre doing well and are lovely so Im not too fussed what they turn into.

mine aren't that yellow and their bodies are slightly darker and the markings are much thicker!
