This is Dee. She likes to eat lettuce upside down, or halfway upside down :-)
And here's a picture with Snaily and Dee side by side!

Hi snailboat , That first photo of Dee eating upside down is great I love it. Snaily and Dee are really gorgeous snails, their shells are beautiful and in amazing shape. Do you simply feed them cuttle fish bone or another source of calcium as well. Great photos snailboat thank you for sharing. vallery

That's the only source of calcium right now. Their basic foods are romaine lettuce and cuttlebone, so I make sure they always have those two, but I try to give them other foods when I have them so they have a little variety :-)

I hope it's okay if I keep posting pictures now and then... :-) Here are a couple pictures of Snaily enjoying a slice of banana! I've been trying to give them a little more varied diet. Right now it's romaine, carrot, banana, and cuttle. I'm not sure what else to give them right now, but since I added carrot it's been Snaily's favorite! Here's Dee: Dee never really finished getting the stripeys near the opening of her shell, and I don't really know why not. I make sure she always has cuttle available and sometimes I put her on it, and I know she eats it sometimes, but I've also caught her rasping at the lip of her shell now and then. Snaily finished growing his shell pretty well with the same environment and food. I hope everything's okay! I guess I should try to get a better picture of Dee's shell sometime. Here's baby Bean, who is starting to grow a proper shell, with stripeys and all :-) She's now over a month old!
Bean is Snaily and Dee's baby, still pretty tiny but a lot bigger than when she hatched!

Oh! Okay, I can post a few more ^-^ All the pictures are taken with my iPhone, except the one really nice one my friend took with her nice camera :-) Here's the terrarium with the lid on and off: Originally I got this cage for one snail from PetCo, but they didn't sell snails so I had to find one outside! I found Snaily and brought him home and kept him in this cage and fed him for a while :-) And then I thought it might be sad if he never saw another snail for the rest of his life, so I went and caught another snail, Dee! I was surprised to discover her personality was completely different from Snaily's. For starters, Snaily doesn't really seem to like being misted, and whenever I spray him he snails as far as he can, climbing the walls, ceilings, walls again, and all over :-) When I mist Dee, she just sits there and enjoys it! She especially likes sitting in a little puddle. Anyway, they looked different at first, and I wasn't sure they'd be able to mate, but they did, and Snaily laid eggs--about eighty of them! I'm afraid I wasn't prepared to raise dozens of snails, so I froze all of the eggs except one, which I left in the corner, and 11 days later Bean hatched from her egg! So now I have three snailies, and I put the divider in to keep the baby separate until she's a little bigger. It's a little cramped now with the divider and three snails. I wonder when it'll be safe to take the divider out? Here's a picture of one-month-old Bean enjoying some carrot! Like Snaily, she seems to get really excited about carrot slices. Snailies being silly:

thank you so much for your photos =) I have a similiar terrarium but mine is a bit taller it looks like your has enough space for them to go around can I ask what is the measurements? I'm sorry if my english is a bitty strange ehhe I'm Portuguese currently living in Lisbon I often wonder about that too, giving my snail a bit of company but didn't get to find another one. This one, Speedy is its name, was rescued from a bag of dry herbs Mine really likes sweet potato not completely raw but nuked for a few seconds on microwave, like 30 secs, I let it cool and he seems to be very happy eating it you have such a happy snail family! loved it <3

I made a video of my baby snail Bean eating cuttle! :-) You can set it to 1080p and fullscreen, and hopefully see enough detail to see inside her translucent body as she eats. Here's Bean upside down on the ceiling :-) And on the cuttle And some pictures of Snaily being cute! :-) I think Snaily's shell looks really nice in this one :-)
