Hello all
At the moment I'm not ready to open my heart to anymore snails after losing my Pear but I know that in the future I would like to get 3 or 4 and raise them all together. I'm wondering what breeds of African snail can be kept together? I'd rather have fulicas as they are quite hardy but I'd like then to be different colours- does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

The staff couldn't have been more compassionate about cremating Pear- they understood that she was very loved and like a little person. Its strange because, on the night I took her home, one of my electric tealights closest to her lit up on its own and shone brightly. Now, I know its probably just dodgy wiring but I like to think it was my Pear telling me she was home

Hello all
I just wanted some advice as lately, my Pear has been deeply retracted into her shell and falling off the sides of the tank. When I get her out she pops out to see me and snails about on my hand and likes being stroked but as soon as I put her in the tank again she won't travel far before retracting again. She's been off her food for just over a week. I've tried hand feeding her but she won't take anything. The temp and humidity are fine and nothing has changed. She is nearly 5 now so I'm unsure if its just her age? Why do snails retract so deeply into their shells?
Thanks
