Is hot glue safe for snails? I was thinking of making some sort of hide with plastic and hot glue and rocks. The rocks will be tight so they won't fall so I'm not worried about that. But will the hot glue he toxic in any way? If it's seeping out of the rocks that cover it?

Ok so some seeds I put in are toxic. I'm going to have to Buy new dirt. Maybe online? Getting serious here lol. Do you have to have a license to sell garden snails? Might breed them but it seems hard

I'd try to find soil without fertilizer just to be on the safe side, because you never know what the side effects could be. For a full list of safe and toxic plants, click here. What about ornamental grass and bells of Ireland?

I wouldn't use the miracle gro soil, as they will eventually ingest the fertilizer that is added to it. That probably won't kill them but I don't think it will be healthy. I'm not sure about the turf builder quick fix grass seed. I can't find anything about added chemicals online, but read the bag first to make sure there is no pest-resistant coating as snails will try to eat seeds. I have no other dirt and idk you think it will really hurt them?

Want to know if these are safe (just bought) before I put them in with snails (seeds and soil)
Ok (1) moluccella laevis - bells of Ireland (2) blue fescue -ornamental grass (3) sweet dreams mix -sweet pea (4) Cardinal climber
Ok then I have Scott's turft builder grass seed quick fix mix
Then for dirt I have Miracle grow sphagnum peat moss Says its enriched with plant food though
ARE THESE OKAY FOR SNAILS

I have 7 of all different sizes. There Helix asperas (idk what it's called) and my parents don't drink and I'm only 13. There's no noticeable bites in the food. They also have no calcium so I'm going to see if I can get eggs. Only problem is no one in my family likes to eat eggs and I don't want to waste them for the shell. Maybe il Make a cake lol

I was just wondering. Is there a way to get a snail out of its shell faster? Some of my snails take a while and others will come out if you pick them up. Is there like a special technique? lol. Sometimes if you put other snails near it it will come out. But i was just curious. ( I would like to know a way to get the snail out without hurting it or annoying it by the way)

Hello My snails have plastic cup hides but i was wondering.. Anyone have ideas? I was planning on making a YouTube video on what and what you shouldn't use as hides, recommended ones, and how to make them. But the only ones you can make are plastic basically. So i was thinking. If i hot glued rocks together with sticks and such would it be a good hide? Would the hot glue hurt them (once its dried) Any tips? Thanks

I don't think my garden snails are eating. I feed them cauliflower and carrots and some lettuce but I'm not sure if they eat it. I heard they like fungis so I put a rotten strawberry in there. I also don't know if there drinking. I put a cotton ball in there but I don't know if they know how to drink it. They have a fake plant in there because I heard real plants could be toxic. The plant was for fish so it's safe. Any suggestions on my snails diet or eating? Thanks
