i owuld reccomend giving the cork a quickwash and then drying it.
then before using it put it in the microwave for 30s or so.

There is always an excuse to shop...bl**dy hell, I just spent nearly £30.00 on your shop and have not even finished my shopping. *Note to myself, locking my butt on the chair is not a good idea.

what about your oven instead of the microwave, low heat for 30minutes.
u really shouldnt put anythign non sterilised into an aniaml enclosure.
esp pieces of wood.

That would probably be a stronger no than the microwave lol. (It's a nice new oven) Will see what I can do though, unless Daz has already done all this.

Ummmm no I haven't done anything to it , it's just la natural lol ..... I could do that before sending out but then peeps only have my word that i have done it and if anything should happen I'd rather not have peeps coming back and accusing me of not doing this that and other with it lol .... where as if they do it themselves I'm pretty much out of the picture of blame.

Lol it aint me!! The oven should be ok, mum let me "cook" the soil and coir in it before. I'll see if I can do the smaller pieces in the micro and the others in the oven. We have fish food in the freezer but its seperated from our stuff lol. The dog food goes in the fridge but it's only dogs staying that have dog meat. Plus it's in a can lol Would soaking it work? Or is the oven/micro the best way? Lol ok Daz. Thanks ;D

i would reccomend the oven over soaking, oven will guarentee, cant guarentee with water, could make it worse tbh.
and daz, your fine doing it as yo uare. better for peopel to do it themself, even if yo usaid u did it i would personally still do it myself, no offence.lol

Just came across these in one of my suppliers , is any of this stuff any good for invert people?? It's listed under vivarium decor away from the fake plants section so I assume that it's all real stuff ..... I think that Ceiron may be able to shed a bit of light on this.

Giant Tony Fern! lol all sounds very pretty! might need to find out weather the leaves might be poisonous if the snails were to eat it? - know they're pretty good and not eating bad things but just in case?

BAMBOO BAMBOO BAMBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Lol
The rest sound nice too but I'd need pics.
Quite a few of them are the same names as fake plants I've looked at, the giant bamboo being one lol. But if they're away from that section.. then I don't know.
I know mopani wood doesn't normally have a fake version, we have that for the fish tanks and it's pretty expensive.

Mmmmm I'm probably gonna have to phone them as their list doesn't have pictures lol .... find out if they are real or what and then buy some of it and get pics up on the site and take it from there lol.
I have a list of their fake section for vivs , dunno if anyone buys fake though ... heres the list ... some feedback would be good on these as to what people would be interested in as invert owners because obviously not all of these fake plants are gonna be desireable ... anyway take a look and let me know if you don't mind. (I'm trying to guage my next order as they have a minimum order thing lol).

How much can you get the silk ones for? We buy them for the snails and fish tanks and we need a few more.
Also I'd be interested in the price of the jungle vines ;D

They're sold for reptiles but they work well in fish tanks ;D Lol My mum has the "weed" looking one as a background in hers. (The Abutilon lol)
£5 for large? That's good! ;D I'd be interested in all 3 silk ones, just not sure on what sizes though.
Does it say the lengths of the jungle vines?

Right lol.
Mmmm no it doesn't which is a bit gay , I think with those it's probably gonna be a case of me buying them in and seeing what happens....
I could pay em a visit and incorporate it in with a visit to see Mr Paul lol but he's very busy and I really don't like the long assed journey in this weather ... trains suck at the best of times.
I could ring em but they are a bit ummmm slack on the phone unless I get one of the really helpful people lol .... mmmm not sure what to do lol

LOL yeah it's a pain in the butt when suppliers just give you a catalogue with listings and prices .... there again I guess if they went to the bother of producing a lovely catalogue with great looking pics and some descriptive work then their prices would not be as low ......
