thats fine, thanks for answering.lol
know i am an awkward buggger.lol
tbh i dont know if they can cope with the larger pieces, if it was gorund to a dust then i presume so.
so fair point there.lol
i normally just grate cuttlefish onto their food.
they dont tend to eat huge amounts an d its mainly detritous stuff.
so the cereal mix shoudl be fine as is.

Okay Ceiron , no probs ..... any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated Well a tad of interesting news today , now nothing is definate it's just a bit of chit chat at the moment. Okay I went to see the guy at the pet store for a bit of a chat , coz I like him ... reminds me of my dad lol. Anyway he was telling me that he is thinking of retiring and handing the shop over to his son in law .... but he'd need to employ someone to help. He wittered on about it for a while giving me the impression that he was interested in me LOL .... I told him about my business and he said that maybe if he does retire I could sort something out with son in law to maybe have my own corner .... so basically what i think he's trying to say is ... we'll pay you a reduced wage and you can have your own corner LOL .... they have empty vivariums and stuff just sat there because they stopped doing snails and the like a while ago so I could even start that side up again .... pipe dreams at the moment though coz he's been meaning to retire for the last few years LOL .... but it may well be a rather splendid opportunity of the old guy does take up his slippers and pipe LMAO. Just thought i'd tell you , something interesting to break the day up LOL. Daz

Even if I can find the things I need localy, I still plan to be a regular customer. We need to support great shops like Daz's. Not only is he working darn hard to give us the best stuff, he is also talking to us like people instead of money! ;D

Thats lovely is that , what can I say to that??? Thankyou so much for your kind words , I do try my best and it's really great to see that people are noticing my efforts .... money is good but what is money worth without people? Not a lot , so I look after the people first ....
I shall always do what I can to make it better for the people , my last business failed back in the 90's because I was too nice lol ..... I can't be any other way I'm affraid , hopefully my niceness will pay off this time lol.
Is niceness even a word? Oh well .. it is now LMAO.
But once again thank you very much for those words of support , I find it greatly encouraging.
Cheers
Daz

Hi Daz, I forgot to say thanks for the stuff. the cuttlefish is lovely, really brilliant quality, all white and powdery, the snails love it. and the juvenile african snails ate some of the crushed oyster. i was surprised i thought it would be too exotic for them. and the cork bark is great, really decorative thanks ;D mike

Sian : I will be getting those plants in , I promise lol .... will either be next week or the week after that .. for definate .... lots of new stuff coming. Mandy : I hear what you are saying about ebay , I would prefer not to go the ebay route this time round because I'd have to put prices up on there to cover costs and to be honest I think there are too many fools on there lol .... lots of nice people but also alot of not so nice people so if I can I shall steer clear , ebay will be used if I have too though ... at the moment though I'm managing with out the egay site Daz

Found another supplier , smaller minimum order and some interesting stuff .... is this kind of stuff of interest to anyone please
Cork Branches Liana Bamboo Humus Douglas fir bark Substrate Terrano ready mixed terranium soil Chopped Beech Substrate Pine Bark Substrate Chopped Coconut Substrate Corn Granules Substrate Reptix Aqua Gel (I believe this is great stuff , any feed back would be useful on this as I am only going on information from one source for this Aqua Gel)
Sorry Sian their plant selection is gay , so i still have to wait to get to the order limit on the other supplier .. maybe some of that stuff above interests you though .. who knows eh lol

Cork Branches Liana Bamboo ;D ;D Terrano ready mixed terranium soil Reptix Aqua Gel No worries about the plants. Any more info on the bamboo? I'd be interested those 5 things, as long as the soil isn't a big huge bag lol. I've been seeing loads of bug gels and stuff around, might be interesting to try one.

Bamboo is a good addition to snail's tanks. Very decorative and they love to climb it.

Hmm a few 5x100's would be nice, if a few of them works out cheaper than a lot of x50's that is lol. 4ltr bag sounds fine.
I'll take the cork branches off my list though lol. Too big! Unless it's easy to break/cut?

Yah Pluckenator can give them a good going over and see if they can withstand his baldyneck super birdy 'whatever' powers .... if they can ... then I am no match for the cork branches and I shall hide in case they invade.
