OK I have had a look at these closely and compared them to other species.
Columnella, truncated, therefore not Achatina immaculata. Columnella colour, blueish white and different shape, possible A.fulica. But I am not happy that they actually are A.fulica. So jury still out! I will have another look in a week or two.

has anyone noticed how much it hurts when they try and 'eat/suck' your skin?? my other snails have never really hurt at all when they taste you to find out if your food.

Do you have an account wiht Flickr, Photobucket, or other photo-hosting site? If so, you can upload the pic there and link to that.
If not, you can try using tinypic.com. It's free, and you don't need to register, so it's good for one-time-only or now-and-then uploads. Just upload your pic to tinypic and use the url they assign it.

the largest is 6cm if they were fulica they would be getting darker shells by this point when i looked at them under a microscope they were nothing like fulica's the colors all wrong to much pink, its true i have not seen a Stuhlmanni at this age, but the shells are totally different from any fulica i have and they are growing at a faster rate to, if they turn out to be fulica's i don't have a problem with that, but at this point i don't think they are, but i am not an expert on snails i am only going on what i have found on the internet, and for all i know the pictures could have beed fulica?

Ive shown an expert and author on African snails a link to the pictures, he agree's and has told me that they are without a doubt Achatina fulica. If anyone is still unsure though maybe ask around, natural history museums etc.. for help identifying them, though I really dont see the snails that were sold as stuhlmanni being anything other than fulica now that they are a size where its possible to differentiate between them and immacs.

watch these snails as last night they ate a juvenile tiger, the tiger was out last night before I went to the football match this morning the shell is empty, so unless the tigers Houdini in disguise these are cannibals so not fulicas!

the tiger may have died, and then been eaten. It isnt unknown for snails to eat each other though, especially in immaculata, but theres no reason why not in other species, fulica in Hawaii has been observed eating live Veronicellid slugs.
