I knew I was going to be trying one after the other, so rather than posting them in separate threads I'll have them posted here in two different posts. Since I conducted the basil experiment first, I'll post it first.
Day 1

The basil experiment begins!

Close-up of the snails around the breeding dish. Some u-turns going on here...

Don't really know what's going on here, but some of them just look confused while others run away.

I believe the yellow guy in the middle might have been one of the very few brown-lips to at least give it a rasp.

Neohelix albolabris trying the roots?

To my surprise most of the neos didn't seem to like it!

Close-up of a brown-lip investigating the foreign herb.

Little snail crawling on the basil leaf to have a nibble.
At this point, I think this experiment is going to be a megabomb!
Let's see how day 2 will turn out to be.
Day 2

It's a good thing I give my experiments two days before I make my conclusions because if I had just left it at day 1 I would have just called it a complete failure, but this proved me wrong! I don't know if the tigersnail there was actually responsible for that or not, but it's possible since I did see some of them hanging around it for while.

from above, I can see that there's a lot of gastropods chilling on the back wall cussing about how bad the basil must have tasted!

What?

Neo trio close-up on the wall.

Evidence of destruction here.

And here.

Kudos to you for trying some basil.

Flamed tigersnail caught on camera!

"Don't take my picture please!"

A light under the "tunnel".

Brown-lipped snail relaxing on a rock.
What can I say? Days 1 and 2 were really different form each other and I'm glad to know that my $3 CDN didn't go down the drain! Also, the basil gave the box a fantastic smell which is a wonderful thing considering that the seed experiments do the polar opposite!
Basil experiment ratings
Flamed tigersnails: Fair?
Neohelix albolabris: Poor-Fair
Brown lipped snails: Poor
